Yes, Ramsa is right. The return current will get you in a discomforting number of cases. Forget the so-called 'three-fold law', it doesn't exist outside of tales to frighten young witches. But the return of your own current is highly likely.

I have heard someone say that magical currents are merely moods of inspiration that one gets when working. Regrettably this is whimsical nonsense. Magical currents is what magical working produces, or should produce (or can produce). They can clobber you very nicely, and you may not find it at all inspiring.

So yes, Ramsa is right, the likely outcome is you will generate a current of resentment and anger that will return to engulf you.

Rather than looking at it as a return current, consider it more of a diffraction of the potentialities which even out the action/re-action to a zero-sum.
