im somewhere near the end of the 46 week Tarot course now. its often hard to keep at the study every day (i manage about 4-5 days a week), but it pays off in giving a rich framework of symbolism. the slow pace of the course is sometimes maddening (someone once mentioned that they have about 10 years of courses), and it sometimes seems like they're holding a carrot in front of your face telling you that some day in the distant future you will receive practical instruction. but combined with the largely practical work of DMK's 'Modern Magick', the BOTA lessons give a good theoretical map of the magickal universe.

also the name Cain (Qoph-yod-nun) he says adds to 160 (the same as 4 M's on the Crown being knocked off of Key 16, The Tower) but ignores the final Nun (which has a value of 700) which would make this name 810.

There are some who descry the use of the five terminals for gematria. I think spell the word as it's written, but that does become a bit unclear when one is transliterating into Hebrew or when the Hebrew itself contains variant spellings.
