Contacting the G.D

The only method to become instructed in the GD way of magic is to get hold of 'The Golden Dawn complete system of Magic' by Israel Regardie. The Golden Dawn do not function as an initiating/teaching order as such these days. D.K.D.G. The warden of t.GD.

Sorry to disappoint you but there are many GD groups out there that are initiating into the current.

I am not at all disappointed. I know a lot of groups that claim GD heritage. But from my point of view they are all expencive and elusive as well. Buying suggested book and do it yourself is much cheaper... And none of the groups are the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. D.K.D.G. The warden of t.GD

I have heard that some of the groups charge nothing, no initiation fee's, no fee's for materials, e.t.

And what groups would that be? I have heard that some of those groups also tell their students that an evil current is threatening them, and then it is when the money question arises... But I don't expect you do mean these kind of groups. D.K.D.G.

To my understanding the Cicero's group charges nothing.

No I don't, I believe that Cicero's group doesnt charge for initiations or materials. I am sure there are others as well.

I am also sure that there are groups out there that charge enourmous fee's for their knowledge. But the bottom line is that are Golden Dawn groups that have a working knowledge that do not charge. I suggest looking up Mitch Henson's webpage where the Golden Dawn FAQ can be found. Almost every G.D. group that is currently in working order has a mailing or email address on the FAQ.
