I think it is a good reference work, as it reorganises the basic knowledge lectures and associated rituals and commentaries into the order of the grades. However, looking at the rather simplistic commentary given to the nature of the grades, I was put off buying it.

i saw in a local mall a book on self initiation into the golden dawn system(quite thick) at least about 500 pages,i know that Isreale Regardie published a 4 part series some time ago and a condesed version was printed acouple of years ago has any one read this book
