I’ve just read the story of the Witnessing tree showing the wisdom of the Ohr HaChaim, you might enjoy reading it again even if you’ve read it several times in the past. Here is the original post.
Thinking about the story this time, I felt more the conviction of the traveler than the wisdom of Ohr HaChaim maybe because I imagine myself in similar situations, having to show faith and trust even when the way the help is coming is not clear to me.
As a person I can see myself trying to let go of the mind chatter on many occasion just to express the belief that even when I can’t see the logic behind the things and can’t really see how a certain situation can be resolved it usually does as long as I stop trying to understand and control everything.
I have great faith but I also have the human tendency of trying to understand mentally how a certain change would come about and as clever as I may be I can’t really understand everything especially when God’s world is so complex and the paths of change are much wider than any human can understand.
Whenever I find myself in the But situation, feeling that I’m heard but hearing the But hoe can it be in my mind I remind myself the simple truth of let go and let god.
It works every time even better than I thought was possible.
Rebbe Nachman teaches us to always begin anew - each day, each hour, each minute. You must remain young, renewing yourself. Everyday making a fresh start. This a very simple but profound secret and a key to survival in this day and age.
The day actually start after the sunset and not in the morning and if you pay attention you’ll be able to feel the feeling of relief that comes to the world when the night comes and everything feels a little cleaner as if there is more hope more peace and the chance to create something new.
The singing is in Hebrew but you really don’t have to know Hebrew to enjoy the amazing influence of the Tikkun Haklali.
If you can get the CD from a local Braslav community or even through someone in Israel you’ll be very happy that you did.
The importance if this ten songs from the Book of Psalms was discussed extensively by Rabi Braslav and from my personal experience reading it or listening to the CD can make a significant difference that even if you have no prior energetic sensitivity you’ll be able to feel it.
This period toward the end of the sixth thousand year is the period of great availability of light.
According to the Kabbalah the broken kelim are being corrected at a higher pace but the correction of the kelim doesn’t mean just that people would have better option to connect with their light and bring the divine light back to its proper place.
It is also important that all the people that are sleeping that have forgotten that they are being of divine origins places here on a mission of correction, all these people have to be awaken too.
For a very interesting discussion on the breakage of the kelims (vessels) and the correction process it is really recommended to read some of the books of the kabbalah the most important of which is the Zohar. If you really want to try and read in the Zohar better start with the introduction book.
I saw on Kabbalah thought a link to an online version of Introduction to the Book of Zohar. In order to read the book press on the book’s image.
There are constant discussions on the theory of evolution and religious believes. Sometimes it even reaches a full blown war where certain school decides to ban either the religious teaching or the teachings of Darwin.
Kabbalah offers another perspective that doesn’t negate any of Darwin’s findings but rather offer a different explanation to them.
It is not the claim that men evolved from monkeys that is rejected by the kabbalah it is the explanation that the evolution and the changes of the species is blind, i.e has no plan.
You might enjoy reading the explanation that Rabi Leitman offers to the evolution question it is clear and easy to understand. His answer is here.
I read his blog regularly but I missed this post and only reached it after checking the Kabbalah for women and seeing the link there.
The higher explanation is that there is a divine plan. Even that first monkey was bound to evolve over time and become a human been.
There are no blind accidents in nature. Each thing carries its own specific light by what Rabi Leitman calls the spiritual gene (Rashimo is the common kabalic term).
It is the ability to evolve as written in our structure from the start that causes us to evolve and not just the absence of food, mere chance or other random circumstances.
