It takes days for posts to show up

It is possible that some quirk is causing whatever I post to this group to take days to show up. They show immediately in all other groups. However, frankly this is why I am reticent to post here. I loose track of the thread of thought when a week goes bye betewwn something ive responded to and whatever anyone may have to say about that. I am rather new to newsgroups and so it is entirely likely that I am simply posting incorectly. However I have the feeling that the moderater takes a few days to read messages and this is the cause of the delay. Appologies if this is incorect.It realy is one of the few groups of interest to me and I would very much like to see it become lively. JR
