Just new to the study of Qabalah and the Golden Dawn. I was wondering if someone could suggest some serious books about it. I fully understand not to play with powers I don't understand, so I'm trying to start out by building a good astrological background. Any suggestions for works about this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

A good place to start may be the book reviews on the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn (HOGD) website at http://www.webvs.com/hogd/. I am not, (as yet anyway), a member of this organization but they have an excelent website. Good Luck.

Greetings and Salutations. An excellent book on Magick and the Qabala is MODERN MAGICK by Donald Michael Kraig. I would also address any questions you may be having.
