Well first of all, I don't know, but here's what I've thought.

Transcendental Meditation has plenty going for it, although the beneficial effects are much the same as relaxing to music (it did nothing more for me, AFAIK, when I tried it religiously for several years).

But then, he goes on to more advanced 'sidhas' including such things as 'yogic flying' (people bouncing up and down on cushions), and claiming all sorts of parallels between quantum mechanics and ancient scriptures. I read this as bunk.

years ago I devised this simple rule to evaluate spiritual teachings. The value of any spiritual teaching is inversely proportional to it's cost. Works for me
