Golden Dawn meditation desires to: (1) quiet the mind like Buddhist meditation (removing the clutter that prevents us from going through energy both condensing and expanding), (3) visualize the manifestation of energy like occult meditation (to acquire progress on our paths), (4) enjoy life (through recognition of our oneness and the service that is implied by this oneness), BUT IT DOES SO using a particular system of ceremonial magic using great techniques like ritual, legends, colors, music, prayer, signs, symbols, fire, water, earth, air, incense, story telling, candles, vaults, sacred places, rhythms, currents, Kabbalah, members might use any form of personal meditation. Each Golden Dawn ceremony includes specific meditations, and all ceremonies are preceded with certain forms of meditation.
