I have lurked on this newsgroup a few times over the past couple of months or so, and I have a question. I want to learn more about the kabbalah, and that's why I lurk here from time to time. I have read a few books about it, books that focus mostly on its tarot applications. Other books there are I know, and I have read a few as well. Always knowing that this is, as many would agree, that this is an intrusion upon the mysteries of the golden dawn. Serious seekers eventually find teachers or make their way to a temple, and I hope this will be a part of my future. Til then, what I'd like to know, from someone who knows, is this: what, if any, components of kabbalistic study do serious practitioners/scholars deem appropriate for discussion with/among noninitiates? What, if anything, can be seriously discussed here, within this newsgroup, for instance? I ask this out of sincere respect for orders that follow this tradition, and as a lurker who hopes to be a part of a thread herein. Thanks+ACE-

Your respect is welcome, but it's past time for these secrets.

You may consider looking at Regardie's book, The Golden Dawn (Llewellyn Publications) ... Rituals, passwords, signs and many other pieces of information are available.

The tradition of passing information is in a new age ... the challenge of gathering first hand knowledge is as it has been.

Fare well

Hi samelton,

For every initiate that has taken an oath to keep things secret there are 10 who know the same stuff and never took any oath. So in fact it is largely a matter of personal honour how much one keeps to oneself or discusses in the open .. honour .. or maturity of Soul.

Regards
