Can't you at least change the form letter? This is the same post you put in alt.tarot, substituting 'occult' for 'tarot.'
And again, of course you intend to offend, when you appear spouting threats against those who don't believe as you do. You may say this isn't your threat, but God's...which leaves us wondering why we should concern ourselves with a Deity who demands we love Him or else...like an abusive spouse.
(Fortunately, we also can observe that your picayune and paranoid interpretation of God is not necessarily the Reality of God...but you ARE irritating)

Hey y'all. As one of a very small group of Christian Occultists ( I may be the only one) I would like to share my opinion on this issue. First of all, I believe that the bible was written by man and not by God, and thus man's words in the bible will be slightly different from the words of God himself. I also believe that the motivation existed at times for people who did have the power to change the bible to do so. The dead sea scrolls also show misinterpretations from the original bible as it was translated into other languages. In short the bible is in my opinion not wholly correct. One of the areas I believe it is oft-misinterpreted today is where it condemns witchcraft, sorcery, and magick. Back in the days it was written, these words specifically meant binding and making deals with evil spirits, and did not include all of what later became grouped into the term magick. I think it is wrong to bind and make deals with evil spirits, and so I avoid that part of magick. I also feel it is wrong to worship any gods but the biblical God. However, there is a lot left over. Even hypnosis was once considered a form of magick and it is not only not evil, but can have many positive results. I guess the long and short of it is, before condemning something understand it, and before accepting the bible as wholly correct in it's current form at least hear out the arguments that say otherwise. One final thing, at the end of revelations, God warns that all the horrors and plagues mentioned in the bible will befall anyone who changes it, would he have said that were it not possible for it to happen?
