however I had been concerned that I was too young to be studying it...Mysticism and spirituality interest me immensely. This seems like a neat group. I'd like to hear from anyone that has any pointers on how to get started on studying the kabbalah...thanks.

The first thing I'd recommend is finding a study partner. Kabbalah just shouldn't be studied in isolation. That doesn't mean that you have to spend all of your study time with somebody, but weekly meetings with your study partner (or on-line chats or telephone calls) should be scheduled.

If you can find an existing group in your area, you might want to check them out, as well. Be very wary of any group or teacher who tells you that they know all of the answers and that they're way is the only way. There is NEVER just one way to study, one way to learn, one proper path to follow.

I'm rewriting a bibliography right now for a study group which I'll be leading here in NY City, starting on Wednesday night. When it's finished (a few weeks from now, I hope), I'll post it here as well.
